Everett Crane Jr. at the age of 55 of Carl Junction Missouri passed away peacefully from Covid and pneumonia on Saturday January 8,2022 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri with his wife Becky Crane by his bed side. He was born On March 6, 1966, to Everett Crane Sr. and Lena Lomas. Everett was raised by his father Everett Crane Sr. and his Stepmother Linda Kay Hasty. Everett and Becky have been together for 42 years but had been married for 38 years. They met by Becky running over Everett's hand at the skating rink in Joplin. From then on, they were always know as Everett and Becky or as Everett's family called Becky the little retarded girl, because she like to throw fried chicken. Everett was the oldest out of 8 siblings: David Fichtner of Joplin, Linda Crane of Joplin, Darren Fichtner of Kansas City, Jill Fichtner, Randa Bell of Joplin, Bethany Bell of Carl Junction.
Everett was a diesel mechanic for 27 years until he was diagnosed with cellulitis and seizure. From then on Everett had to find a new passion, he had always loved God and Church. So, he decided to tell kids about the Lord and became a youth pastor at our church home Royal Heights Baptist Church. He loved his family but most of all his greatest pride was being a Papa to his 3 grand kids and to many other kids that look at him as a grandfather figure. Everett is survived by his wife Becky Crane, Daughter; Satin (Crane)Pritchett and Husband Joseph Pritchett of Carl Junction, Son; Kyle Crane and Wife Lainee Crane of Carl Junction, Son; Issac Crane of Carl Junction, Daughter; Kerian Keough-Crane of Joplin, Daughter; Jennifer Wilson of Joplin, Son; Lukas, Son; Jeremah, and Daughter: Tehya Hamilton of Sarcoxie, Daughter; Jessica Shaw Of Joplin, Daughter; Summer Brandt of Lake of Ozark ; Son; Shane Crane. He has 3 grandchildren by birth: Kaite Pritchett, Ryan Pritchett, Jensyn Crane and several adopted grandchildren.
He is Preceded in Death by his father Everett Crane Sr., Linda Kay Hasty (stepmother), Louis Howard (Grandmother), Fred Finn (Grandpa), Russel Crane (Grandpa), and Norma Brown (grandmother).
